The Kautz Glacier

June 26-28, 1995

The Kautz was my first route on Rainier. Remarkably, it was also my first attempt on Rainier and I climbed with my Father, who flew out from Michigan for the trip as a way to celebrate his 50th birthday.

I am working on a very special trip report to go here that will detail the climb and celebrate the experience I had with Dad.
